Award Winners
This distinguished award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and innovation in the field of energy. This annual award honors the person selected and recognizes Frank Pitts' legacy of entrpreneurship, ethical leadership and innovation in the energy industry.
Our Nominating Committee selects recipients guided by the following criteria:
- Recipients are leaders in a business, government, or not-for-profit organization related to the field of energy.
- Selected individuals receiving the award will have exhibited outstanding leadership and championed innovation in the broad field of energy, including, but not limited to, innovation in the areas of energy exploration, discovery and production, conventional and enhanced recovery, alternative and sustainable energy sources, oil and gas pipeline transmission and refining, technology, management practices, industry advocacy, and energy education.
- Award recipients have demonstrated business and personal conduct that reflects the highest level of integrity and moral and ethical standards.
The Pioneer Award recognizes individuals for pioneering achievements in the energy industry. This Award is presented periodically to individuals who created a new company, business, technology or furthered the knowledge or progress of the energy industry.
Recipients:
- Are leaders in a business, government, or not-for-profit organization related to the field of energy
- Have distinguished themselves in such a way they are recognized as a leader in the industry either currently or in the past
- Have demonstrated business and personal conduct that reflects the highest level of integrity and moral and ethical standards
